Center for Intervention Strategies
Center Director: Alejandro Castillo
Past Director: James S. Dickson
Center Focus and Objectives
The primary focus of the Center for Intervention Strategies is to develop prevention and intervention strategies that will facilitate the continued production of healthy animals and safe plant-derived foodstuffs. Members from any of the Alliance's 21 institutions and USDA-ARS scientists are encouraged to participate in the Center's activities. The Center's primary objective is to encourage collaboration between participating institutions on a variety of research projects.
Center Activities and Projects
Projects highlighted below are three of seven efforts of members of the Center for Intervention Strategies. The biofilm projects from UC-Davis and U. of Idaho are NAFSS funded while the NCSU project is not.
Impact Statement
